T-ball

We signed up Ben for T-ball this fall for the first time. It is also through the Y, which seems to be the easiest introduction to sports in our area. Low cost, low key, non stressful environment for the kids, and relies heavily on parents to coach and help out. Ben had Tuesday evening practices/games. So they would all warm up with their parents for a little while and then move onto a "game" where each kids got up to bat and ran the bases each inning. So Ben (and every other kid) scored a run each inning.

Working on grounders with Dad.
Ben batting. His coach (black hat) looks on as does Eric. Helping him get into proper batting position each time he was up to bat. Most kids had a parent accompany them on the field (not when running bases, but when they were in the field) to help them figure out where to throw the ball, when to go after it vs. let your teammate do so, etc. Lots of rules for little brains to figure out.

Scoring a run!
High fives, good game!
