Lower Salmon River - July 2012
I had the rare opportunity to join a week long, 80 mile expedition on the Lower Salmon River and Snake River in Idaho. Slept each night on a tarp, bug free. Learned a lot about piloting a boat and living on river time. Jane graciously went solo for the week which was asking a lot since we had just returned from our San Francisco trip. I am hoping there are more trip opportunities in the future as a retired co-worker continues to create map books and guide books for the rivers in the western US.
