Mary was perfectly happy in a crib. A bit more cautious than Ben. It was definitely time though. One night after going out to dinner we walked into a mattress store which was next door and in less than 30 minutes had a new one tied to the roof of our car. The next morning, Ben supervised the deconstruction of the crib and even took out several screws and operated the drill. Mary had picked out her new sheets and was excited about the "pink" and the "polka dots".
Ben was happy to wrestle in a bed other than his.
Ben was very concerned that Mary was nervous. They really do like each other and Ben is a great big brother. We make sure to remember these times when they really get along.
