We signed up to run a race the day before Halloween benefitting the Gazelle Foundation (http://www.gazellefoundation.com/). Originally, Jane was planning on running a 5k with Mary in a jogging stroller and Ben and Eric were going to run the Kids 1K. But as we woke up to 40 degree temps, we agreed that Mary would not enjoy the cold early morning sunrise run. So Jane took off early to do the 7am 5k and Eric came an hour later with the kids, closer to their 9am race. I enjoyed seeing the sun come up as the race began!
Ben was really looking forward to this race - he was planning on winning it!
Running super fast.
A very enjoyable race overall. Mary got out of the stroller and ran with Jane for part of the kids K as well. Then once Ben and Eric passed us going the other direction, we turned around as well and I ran and pushed Mary in her stroller to the finish line.
