Thanksgiving 2011

We had a quiet Thanksgiving this year with just the four of us. We fixed a nice dinner but didn't have to fuss making a huge feast. We had the luxury of time so we made two pumpkin pies using a complicated recipe that included straining the filling. Ben and Mary were messy but good helpers. They both are always asking to help cook. We enjoyed the long weekend with no big plans and caught up on rest.Wearing the hats they made in school.
