Celebrated Jane's birthday with a nice dinner cooked by G'ma and G'pa Goodwin.
Ben and his preschool class sang in a Christmas "concert". It was no suprise to us that Ben was one of the few in his class actually singing. He serenades us at home almost daily.
We co-hosted Christmas this year in Austin and had visitors from Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. It was fun to have aunts, uncles, and a cousin around to help celebrate the holidays. Tradional cookie making session. Ben is secure in his manhood and helps the ladies in the kitchen. Mary was happy to eat a lot of icing one toothpick dip at a time.
The kids made off with a lot of loot and the adults enjoyed watching them open up everything. Ben loves his scooter from his aunt and uncle but Mary loves it even more. It is a welcome distraction that Mary has something to ride now so she is not always fighting for Ben's bike.

G'ma S, those Christmas outfits made those two cute kids even cuter. Ben, we were so lucky to sit right near you at your singing concert and do you remember when Grandpa fell asleep? (Just to see you smile.) As for Christmas, thanks J & E. A good time was had by all. Santa was anticipated, real and generous. Karen & Charlie made the long drive just in time. Tom, Sally and Tom Jr. came all the way from Mich. Thank you God for such a nice time/family. New Years resolution: keep those Goodwin men off segways.
