6 month update

We are a little late in posting Mary's 6 month statistics. She was 18 lbs 9 ounces (85%), 26 3/4 inches (75%), and has a 45 cm head circumference (95%). A quick link to Ben's stats is here. I am looking at all these chubby wrist, ankle, and elbow rolls and realizing that they will soon be gone. Her fingers are already looking longer and are definitely more and more coordinated every day. At six months, Mary is a steady sitter, rolls all over the place, isn't crawling although she will get up on all fours and will push herself forward if you provide a support behind her. No teeth yet. Her hair is crazier than ever but very cute and I love it. Ben is her favorite entertainment. She likes his trains and tools, but usually if he sees her playing with them he wants to take them back. Mary still won't take a bottle - we've tried a sippy cup too and haven't had much success. Lately she has taken 1 ounce of a bottle on two seperate occasions. Not great, but better than gagging, protesting, spitting it out like she was before. She has tried rice cereal (started at 5 months), and since the her 6 month birthday on the 15th has also had sweet potatoes, pears, oatmeal, and green beans. She does better with the cereals than the fruits/veggies but we'll give her a little time to get used to them.

Happy 1/2 year birthday, Mary! :) She is just doing so great, and is doing such fun things! Oh, and what's with these baby girls and their bottles?! That's been our challenge ALL month long! Can't believe they're growing up so fast on us...loved all the new pics of her and Ben! P.S. Mary's hair is GREAT - I love it!
