Jumperoo
Ben has pretty much outgrown his activity mat. He doesn't want to lay on his back anymore and almost immediately rolls over when you put him down. So this weekend we got him a new toy - a cross between a walker (it helps him stand upright) and a jumper that hangs in a doorway (it is on springs and he can bounce around). At daycare, Mona has been putting him in a walker for a couple of weeks now, so we thought he was ready for it. He loves it!

That contraption makes me think: "bells and whistles." And Ben looks older than before; contemplative, in fact.
Contraption is the right work for this thing. Ben looks contemplative or even smiling, but he is really making the "v" or "f" sound, which he has recently discovered.
