Ben's doctor appointment for his 3-year check up happened to be at 10 am on the morning it snowed here. His doctor's office was still open, so my pride at having grown up somewhere that regularly receives snow made me keep the appointment. We left around 9:15 and the roads were pretty slick but navigable, even eerie because we were some of the only ones out on usually busy roads. When we left the doctor's at 11, it had warmed up above freezing and the roads were much better.
We are so lucky that Ben is in great health and he is:
38 lbs - 95%
39 1/2 inches - 85%
He talked with the doctor all about Thomas the train, riding on a train, the coaches, etc.... He even told Dr. Broberg that the nurse already listened to his heartbeat when the doctor wanted to listen again. Dr. Broberg turned to me and said, "Well I guess he doesn't have any problems with language."

Every kids' doctor should know about Thomas!
That doctor could well have said "Ben is an articulate star patient."
