Mary's baptism

Yesterday we welcomed Mary to the Catholic church at her baptism. One other baby was baptized at the same time, so it was a nice, small ceremony.

Here we are with Laurel and David, our friends and Mary's godparents, and their son, Cole.

Grandma and Grandpa Stewart came to see the girl of the day. We'll see them in Oklahoma again in a few weeks for Christmas.




We kept telling Ben that Mary was going to church to get water on her head. He paid attention during the "action" parts of baptism but was restless and wandering during the sitting and listening parts.
