The two year drought is not over, but in the last two weeks we've received almost 8 inches. The rain thankfully has washed the heat away too. Ben loved the rain. It has rained so little in his lifetime he barely knows what it is.
He walked in continuous circles in gutters of our cul-de-sac.
After a couple of laps he took off in a happy dance run down the street. He then walked the entire length of our street in the gutters. The muddier the puddle the better.
He had a major melt down when I told him we had to go inside.
