Fourth of July Barbeque
On the 4th of July we went to eat barbeque at the new Coopers location in New Braunfels. Some people that I am related to might not consider it as authentic as the original location, but it wins in my mind because it is 2x closer to Austin and is air-conditioned. This summer, that is a big deal.

Tell us more -- who did you go with; how did you like it; how is it different than Llano; etc. ? Don't just tease me.
Went with another couple. Considered it also an intial 7yr anniversary celebration since we don't get out that much.
Had brisket, sausage, and pork ribs. Sausage was just ok (would not get again), others great. Would probably say tastes the same as original location. Even if there were overlooked short comings, I would say they would be trumped by the shorter drive.
