Train Ride

We woke up early Monday morning to go to Zilker park and ride the train. We wanted to get the first ride of the day because of the heat and we've heard that the lines for tickets and seats on the train can get long.

Ben played on the playground (read: chased the pigeons) first to wear off some energy. We were worried because when it was time to take our seats Ben wouldn't sit down. Wanted to stand, wiggle, climb, etc. But luckily a box of raisins got him to settle down and once the train got moving he was happy to watch the world go by.

I think he'll like the kiddie rollercoasters when the time comes...

He almost sticks his head out like the dog in the car window, but doesn't bite the air. I remember Jane and Karen's childhood train, which had the trash eating pig.
