We all enjoyed the tour and looking down at the production facilities and machinery that filled the gallon buckets and made the frozen snacks. We were sad when we saw a worker dump a bucket full of ice cream cone rejects into the trash! Everyone's favorite part was the scoop of ice cream at the end of the tour. Ben chose magic cookie bar flavor, Mary chose triple chocolate, and I chose cookies and cream.
We then went to Brenham's municipal airport which has a restaurant very close to the runway. We got to see planes taking off and landing as we ate and got to walk right next to the parked ones on our way to our car. The kids were surprised that the planes were so small.
On our way home we stopped off the main road to check out a painted church built by the German immigrants to Texas in the 1850's. To my surprise, the kids liked this stop as well as the others.
Lastly, driving home through the ranches of Texas, we saw a sign that said,"missing bull, call xxx-xxx" which we all found very amusing. We are very accustomed to seeing lost dog and lost cat signs around the neighborhood but we had never seen a lost bull sign. The kids liked making up stories about where it might be.

It seems that Mary is standing in front of the missing bull.
It is on Wall Street.
You are lucky to have a mom who finds such fun things to do.
