Mills elementary has a science fair right after winter break. 4th and 5th grades have to participate and the younger children have the option to if they want. Ben wanted to do a project and narrowed it down to launching cars off his hot wheels track and predicting which one would go the farthest. He worked very hard on his project. Especially challenging were writing out the steps of his experiment (naively I thought a kindergarten assignment shouldn't be typed by mom), learning about decimal points in numbers, and learning that it is ok for your hypothesis to be wrong in an experiment.

Wow. I am very impressed. Good job, Ben
I suppose it's not fair to Ben to think, "we expect no less!" But you two have set the bar high - that's a good thing.
This might be better than buying ants.
