Happy 4th Ben!

Ben wanted his party at Kiddie Acres which is an amusement park specifically for kids under 10. The place has been around since the 70s and it shows. However, the kids love this place. We had perfect weather, happy kids, and even happier parents.
We arrived early to setup and G'ma and G'pa G helped to wrangle kids and blow up balloons. Mary volunteered to be the face paint guinea pig.All week Ben talked about wanting all of his friends and family to ride the train together as the first activity. We filled most of the seats and had the entire train to ourselves for this ride. Ben was beaming with pride and very happy to see his plan finally being executed.It was funnny to see the kids "argue" each time over who got to ride next to Ben. Mary wanted to to ride next to Ben too and Ben was protective enough of her to oblige her a time or two. Soon though, the girls split off from the boys and Mary was happy to tag along with the less rowdy crowd.
