Ben got a two wheeler bike with training wheels. Mary inherited his old tricycle. So that she could also get something new at the store, they both got new bike helmets. She was not fooled into thinking that she got a good deal.
Ben really took off the first day we got the bike. Really the first few times we rode he enjoyed it. Then he turned a corner too quickly and wiped out, and since then he has been pretty worried to ride. Now that the weather has gotten a little cooler, we'll start pushing the bike riding again.

Ah, the pains of being a younger sibling and inheriting everything!
I would think Mary would be pretty happy with that tricycyle. When Ben still owned it, Mary would dash to sit on it the nanosecond he got off.
That trike is perfect for her age.
She can't peddle or steer yet, and the adult doesn't have to get an achy back. Good purchase.
