Ben is two months old today. Month 2 has been so much easier than month 1. He is still a lot of work, but his personality is beginning to show through smiles and noises and taking care of him is more rewarding. For example, it is both a little annoying but also sweet that he always wants to be held and doesn't want to be put down by himself. I know he'll outgrow it eventually - how many 12 year olds want to be held all the time?
His 2 month check-up was today and he is 12 lbs. 8 oz and 23 3/4 inches long. He seems to be growing well. He also got his first round of vaccines and cried for the 3 shots but recovered quickly. He ate some infant tylenol and one other vaccine that was administered by mouth. It was the first thing he's had other than milk and he slurped them down - apparently they were sweet. We were laughing at him, he acted like he wished there were more.
